Alex Oliva is a Boston-based circus artist known for blending impressive acrobatics with captivating movement. He's performed for a wide range of companies and shows, such as "The Lion King" at Disneyland Paris, Cirque Dreams, and New York Fashion Week, and at prestigious international festivals in Italy, China, and Australia. He received his training from world-renowned coaches in Montreal and danced with Boston-based contemporary dance group Urbanity Underground for four seasons, and he's thrilled to be performing for you all this evening!
Alexis Hedrick is a Boston-based circus artist and physical storyteller specializing in aerial rope, silks, and cyr wheel. A graduate of the National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne, Australia, Alexis has performed all over the world with Cirque Bouffon, AIDA and P&O Cruises, and nationally with Flynn Creek Circus, Shanghai Circus, All Wheels Sports, Cirque de Light, and the Boston Circus Guild. She is a founding and active member of local contemporary circus company Circus 617, and a 2023 Next Steps for Boston Dance grantee. She is thrilled to join the Revelry Ball for the first time!
Tonight, Anita Tension will have you begging to see the man behind the curtain. The Great and Powerful Oz would like you to believe in smoke and mirrors—but tonight, the power is real. Hailing from Providence, Rhode Island, this gender-bending force blurs fantasy and reality with her feral glamour and show-stopping costume design. He's here, he's queer, and he's upset they cut the Jitterbug from the original Wizard of Oz! So Boston's oldest (fashioned) bachelor has decided to bring his very own dance fever to the Revelry Ball. Get ready to shake, rattle, and roll, and watch as his feet fly! Welcome, The Bicount Boops-Boops!
Do you love glitz, glamour, and gore? Then you will love Ivana Bendova. An angel who wears lip gloss and listens to heavy metal, Ivana has been performing and producing burlesque shows across the Northshore and Greater Boston area since she sold her soul to the Devil in 2017. She also happens to have a BA in dance and is a licensed physical therapist. If you love watching this ballerina bend over, follow her on Instagram at @bendovaburlesque to see where she’ll be next.
Joel Herzfeld is a Guinness World Record-holding handbalancer and cyr artist based in Boston, USA. Joel has performed around the world. With Les 7 Doigts De La Main, he toured nationally and internationally in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of 'Pippin.' He has also performed with the prestigious Circus Roncalli in Germany, and was proud to entertain US and NATO troops across the world while touring with Armed Forces Entertainment (previously the USO). At sea, Joel performed on the flagships of the Celebrity Cruises and AIDA Cruises fleets, and was also a guest artist on the ship ranked "best in the world" by Berlitz Cruise Guide. Joel has collaborated with a MacArthur Genius and performed in front of orchestras across the continent.
Judith Ngari is a New England-based contortionist performing as Twisted Elegance, delivering high-end performances that fuse extreme flexibility with captivating style. From solo stage acts to ambient installations, her work blends grace, intensity, and surreal beauty to mesmerize audiences and transform the atmosphere of any event.
Ky Bernard’s passion for movement began in her early years as a competitive dancer, exploring styles from hip hop to tap. In 2017, she found her way into the world of circus arts and has since spent nine years training as an aerialist with leading studios across Massachusetts. Ky is driven by a desire to perform in spaces that honor creativity, freedom, and emotional expression—using music and movement as her language.
"Boston-based Latina performer La Paloma makes her Revelry Ball debut in signature red ruby slippers. Known for high-energy dance numbers, she brings Latin flair and beauty to every set. Beyond performing, she also produces shows that spotlight diverse talent across New England. Please welcome La Paloma!
Lauren Elizabeth (she/her) learned circus to to boost her resume as a Serious Actor(TM). However, she quickly developed a love for physical, and interdisciplinary, storytelling. Collaborators include: Flow Show Boston, BLOWW, Esh Circus Arts, New England Black Circus, and Changeling Circus. When she's not upside down or playing with sticks - she can be found crafting, or gaming under the watchful eyes of her two cats.
Legs Hershey is a bubbly and creative spirit who thrives on connection, joy, and authentic expression. With an infectious energy and a love for meeting new people, Legs brings light and positivity wherever she goes. Whether she’s lighting up the dance floor or lifting the vibe in a room, she lives to squeeze every drop of joy out of life. For Legs, dance isn’t just movement—it’s her favorite language of emotion, a way to tell stories, feel deeply, and set her soul free.
Lucy Goose is a delightful white face clown who loves to juggle. Lucy has been clowning for 3 years, and is a co-leader of her clown alley. Lucy is a master of balloon twisting, ukulele and a certified wine sommelier.
Mandy Hackman is an aerialist, dancer, choreographer and a founding member of Circus 617. She has performed on stages across the US and beyond: 617’s productions in Boston and the northeast, immersive works with Control Group and Rainbow Militia in Denver, with Sinecdoche Dance, SAWtooth Dance, Mike Kelley, and others in NYC, at the Kennedy center and across the front range with Frequent Flyers Productions, and as a guest circus artist at Darpana, India, and Casa Chango, Mexico. She has been featured as an event aerialist, stilt walker, and tarot reader across the US with agencies including Phantom Circus, Handsome Little Devils, Aerial Acrobat Entertainment, and Cirque De Light. Offstage, you can find her coaching at Esh Circus Arts & Commonwealth Circus Center, and sharing her love of functional movement as the founder of body inclusive strength and posture service, All Our Bodies.
Worcester’s own brass-balled butterfly Goddess. She is the spiritual child of David Bowie and Mae West; a chanteuse of old Hollywood glamour and bawdy banter. With her classically trained and artfully abused voice, she has wowed audiences across the country, appearing on stages from Boston to New Orleans to Santa Monica as a comedian, singer and event producer. Nyasia Thique Jones is your high energy THIQUE performer. She’s serves you funk hiphop and R&B. she’s known around the Boston drag community as the aunties of ALL aunties. She’s taking on a new journey into gogo-ing.
Rachel Barringer is an aerialist and contortionist based in New England. She performs primarily on aerial hoop, mini hoop, and multi-cordes. She is also one half of DuoShadow with Caroline Wright, and they perform on duo hoop and duo braided loops. Rachel has performed with Shanghai Circus, Boston Circus Guild, Santa’s Circus, Cirque De Light, CirqOvation, and more. She is also a founding member of Circus 617, a contemporary circus company based in Boston. Rachel is a senior coach at Esh Circus Arts in Somerville, MA.
The Roman Wilde is known as the premiere Bicoastal Bisexual! They hail all the way from Alaska but now spend their winters cuddled up in little ol’ Rhode Island. Don’t miss him next month at the Gallery Bar in New Bedford for the second annual Drag King Takeover show! (“March of the Kings”) You can find him on Instagram at "the roman wilde". Tallulah Hoops is a flow artist from New Hampshire, who has been dancing with hoops since 2010! Spinning anywhere from one to six hoops at a time!
Tilda Watersclear is a trombonist drag queen with a vintage flair. Imagine Judy Garland or Maria Callas fiercely breaking into a trombone solo, and that’s her. Always bringing camp, live music, and a lot of love to her local drag community.
Tim Ellis is a juggler, acrobat, fire artist, musician and writer. For over 15 years he has traveled North America with juggling troupe A Different Spin, written and performed multiple theatrical shows with Boston Circus Guild including their signature annual Halloween production, Cirque of the Dead, and enjoyed collaborations with local groups including Cirque de Light and Circus 617. Tim coaches juggling and acrobatics at Esh Circus Arts and is most excited to spread the love of circus to kids and adults of all ages!
Vixen Vibrato is a Boston based burlesque and pole dancing broad bringing inventive opera all over New England. A trained soprano turned burlesque artist, Vixen can be found on a pole, on a Lyra, on a chair belting high Cs. However, many ask, can she do something other than opera? Well, she’s bringing a musical theater classic tonight with an operatic twist. You can next find her at Troop in Providence Rhode Island on March 18th for Thirsty Thursday.

Circus 617 is a collective dedicated to highlighting Boston-based professional circus artists, choreographers, and directors in new works of contemporary circus, created right here in the city we love. Circus 617 productions meld the spectacular, expressive physicality of circus with theatrical and musical methods of storytelling. Founded in 2020, Circus 617 received a LAB grant from the Boston Foundation to create their debut ensemble production, Gathering the Threads. Since then, they have created three additional feature-length productions and two ongoing series: Circus Mixtape, and Arias Aloft in partnership with Opera Untapped. Additionally, Circus 617 partners with organizations through New England to bring custom circus arts performances to audiences throughout the region. Learn more at circus617.com.
